Chitose

Some of Chitose's Skill-based potentials have been buffed thoroughly in Patch 1.9 and finally caught up with her AA build. However, this team composition is not auto-friendly if you do not have Suntide Willow.

★ Key Notes:
• The combination of Against the Flow and Returning Tide allows Chitose to generate a lot of energy for the team.

Torrent Flash (Main Skill) is her main damage source for this build as all of her potentials buff up her Skill DMG. Cascade of Ruin's damage multiplier also scales with its level.

Chitose may unleash Torrent Flash: Scale after one Torrent Flash cast. Also enhances Torrent Flash: Scale, dealing 529% of ATK x4 as AoE Aqua Skill DMG.

Against the Flow

Reduces the Cooldown of Torrent Flash (Main Skill) by 50%. When casting the Main Skill, summons a Mirror Image that has 50% of Chitose's DMG Multiplier. The Mirror Image can cast the Main Skill and trigger Aqua Mark.

Increases Chitose's Skill DMG by 122%.
Also increases Torrent Flash (Main Skill)'s initial uses by 1.

Serpent in Tide 6

When casting Torrent Flash (Main Skill), increases Chitose's Skill DMG by 34% for 6s, up to 3 stacks.

Returning Tide 1

Increases Chitose's Skill DMG by 12%.
After Torrent Flash: Scale kills a target or deals DMG to an elite or higher-tier target, the next Torrent Flash becomes Torrent Flash: Scale.

Azure Embrace 6

When an Aqua squadmate is on the battlefield, increase Chitose's ATK by 60%.

Adamant Scales 1+

Increases Chitose's ATK by 6%. When hit or casting Torrent Flash (Main Skill), increases Chitose's ATK by an additional 8% for 8s.

Suntide Willow

Suntide Willow is a direct upgrade to Teresa as the core support of the team. The obvious upgrade is the significantly larger Support Skill radius for your Main Trekker to move around. Additionally, her skill can easily maintain a permanent uptime which keeps her buffs (and Azure Embrace from Chitose) active at all times.

On a different note, she is usable outside of Aqua as some of her buffing Potentials do not have an element restriction.

★ Key Notes:
• Rhythm Surge and Prismatic Bubbles provides a total of 30% Crit Rate buff for the team.
• Engulfing Tide expands her skill's radius further while giving Aqua DMG buff for the team.
• Marine Justice inflicts a good amount of Aqua DMG Taken debuff.
• Receding Echoes provides Crit DMG buff for the team.
• Balmy Surf provides DEF PEN buff based on the number of Aqua Trekkers in the team.

Skill

1/1/1+/1+ (Support Skill > Ultimate)

Prioritize upgrading Frolic in the Sea (Support Skill) first and Beach Warning (Ultimate) next since her Support Skill gives more buffs than her Ultimate.

Unfortunately, the buff scaling for both skills is a bit underwhelming compared to other Trekkers. Additionally, none of her Potentials for this team scale based on Support Skill level. Therefore, you can comfortably stop at Level 7 if you're low on resources.

Initial Decibel upon entering the field equals 70.
At 100 Decibels, increases the squad's Crit Rate by 10% for 14s, while consuming Decibels over time to rapidly fire bubbles until Decibels drop to 50.

Thunderous Surf

Increases Decibels gained per shot from 2 to 4.
While Safety Alert is active, bubbles turn into piercing sonic waves, increasing DMG multiplier by 50%, and increasing the target's Aqua DMG Taken by 1.1% for 8s, stacking up to 16 times.

Prismatic Bubbles 6

For every 8 shots fired by Willow, a blue bubble is generated near targets inside Bubble Bath, dealing 163% of ATK as AoE Aqua Skill DMG, while increasing the squad's Crit Rate by 20% for 9s. When a blue bubble is generated, there is a 50% chance it turns into a red bubble, additionally increasing Main Trekker's ATK by 74% for 9s.

Marine Justice 6

When Beach Warning deals DMG, increases the target's Aqua DMG Taken by 10.8% for 20s, stacking up to 5 times.

Receding Echoes 6

Each time Decibels are consumed, increases the squad's Crit DMG by 2.4% for 9s, stacking up to 16 times.

Balmy Surf 6

Each Aqua Trekker in the squad increases the squad's DEF PEN by 34.

Engulfing Tide 6

Bubble Bath expands by 5% every second, up to 30%. When the Main Trekker is inside Bubble Bath, increases her Aqua DMG by 70%.

Donna is the sub-DPS of the team, able to dish out good amounts of damage and buffs for the team.

★ Key Notes:
• At least one level of Chilling Onslaught is required in order for Aquatic Assault to work.
• If you want Donna to just fully support Chitose, you can replace Chilling Onslaught and Aquatic Assault with Messenger Arrow.

Skill

1/1/1+/1+ (Support Skill > Ultimate)

Tide Threader (Support Skill) is Donna's primary damage source through its innately high multipliers. Its level also directly scales the damage dealt by Unleashed Arrow and Arrowfall Reckoning.

Tide Threader (Support Skill) fires 1 additional Snow-Piercing Arrow with each shot for each Aqua Trekkers in the squad other than Donna, dealing 230% of ATK as Aqua Skill DMG.

Arrowfall Reckoning

When a Snow-Piercing Arrow deals DMG to Donna's target, 1 arrow tail is left on the target, up to 30.
When Snow-Piercing Arrow deals DMG to a target with arrow tails, it deals 87% of ATK as Aqua Skill DMG.
When Tide Threader (Support Skill) ends, pulls out all arrow tails to deal 609% of ATK as Aqua Skill DMG. Each arrow tail on the target increases this DMG by 10%.

When Snow-Piercing Arrow deals 3 instances of DMG to Donna's target, increases the target's Aqua DMG Taken by 7.3% for 6s, stacking up to 9 times.

Teresa

Teresa provides the team with good amounts of ATK buffs through her potentials and a huge Aqua DMG Taken debuff if you have Wave Breaker.

★ Key Notes:
• Hold On! is taken for its skill reduction time whenever Chitose gets hit.
• Charge Efficiency on her emblems allows her to cast Ultimate 3-4 times, which is only relevant if you have Wave Breaker.

Upgrading Billowing Tide (Support Skill) allows Teresa's Surging Shield to absorb damage better.
This upgrade is not mandatory. Only do it if you find yourself getting hit often.

Surge: Ripple

While Surging Shield is active, when the main Trekker deals damage, creates a surge of waves, dealing 77% of Teresa's ATK as Aqua Skill DMG and inflicting Aqua Mark: Torrent. This effect can only be triggered once every 0.5s.

While Surging Shield is active, increases the main Trekker's ATK by 12%.
When the main Trekker is attacked, reduces the Cooldown of Billowing Tide (Support Skill) by 1s. This effect can only be triggered once every 4s.

When Teresa is on the battlefield, increases the squad's ATK by 44%.

Wave Breaker 6

When Slicing Riptide (Ultimate) deals DMG to targets, reduces their Movement SPD by -90%, and increases their Aqua DMG Taken by 65%. When it hits a friendly unit, increases their resistance to interruption for 20s.

While Surging Shield is active, increases the main Aqua Trekker's ATK by 74% and ATK SPD by 25%.

If you don't have Donna or Teresa, you can alternatively use Freesia to fill in the third slot. Unfortunately, she can only provide support through Aqua DMG Taken debuffs and some Crit Rate gain and cannot act as a sub-DPS.

As Freesia is relegated as a supportive unit for this team, it's not worth it to think about any skill investment for her.

Increases the Skill DMG of Frost Bloom (Support Skill) by 10%. Also increases the Attack Range of Ice Flowers by 60%.

Localized Snowfall

After Freesia casts Frost Bloom (Support Skill) while in Berserk, there is a 30% chance to summon one Ice Flower with an Auto Attack within 6s, dealing 557% of ATK as AoE Aqua Skill DMG. After 1 sec, the "Ice Flower" bursts, dealing 835% of ATK as AoE Aqua Skill DMG.

When Frost Bloom (Support Skill) hits a target, increases the Aqua DMG taken by the target by 8.6% for 7s, up to 8 stacks.
